Welcome to Pension Papahani

Located on the lagoon coast of the motu Tiapaa, south of the island of Maupiti, Pension Papahani is a little dream nest, nestled a 15-minute boat ride from the airport and just 5 minutes from the main island.

Set on a sumptuous white-sand beach on the edge of the lagoon, Pension Papahani is ideal for families looking for a pleasant stay without having to worry about security issues. Families and couples alike will be charmed by the assets of this guesthouse bordered by crystal-clear waters and by the warm, exotic welcome of the owners. They’ll enjoy dining with their feet in the sand, surrounded by local handcrafted decorations. The island abounds in activities, from underwater discoveries (manta rays) to wreath-weaving workshops and deep-sea fishing.

The unique beach bungalow is charming, spacious and well-equipped, with a breathtaking view over the Maupiti lagoon. The guesthouse’s three other units are just as comfortable, but overlook the property’s garden. Whichever bungalow you choose, you’ll have the time of your life in French Polynesia at Pension Papahani!

A warm welcome and crystal-clear lagoons are the key words for your stay at Pension Papahani.

* Please note that there are no banks or ATMs and very few grocery stores on the beautiful island of Maupiti.
